Buzz’d Express Coffee is a Long Island grown drive-thru ONLY coffee shop. Buzz’d was built out of necessity for a more efficient drive-thru coffee experience. We focus on delivering high-quality speciality coffee efficiently by utilizing a two-lane drive-thru system.
We have one lane designated for your standard drive-thru experience where the customer orders at the menu board.
The other lane is strictly designated for pre-order pick-ups. This allows for a more efficient process. Growing up on Long Island, we know how fast everyone is moving whether it’s going to work or heading out to Montauk.
We combined our love for coffee with the need for things in a hurry.

We stated that efficiency is important to us. In order to give the customers an easy ordering experience to pair with our pre-order lane. We built an app for our customers to order ahead of time.
Ordering ahead allows customers to earn rewards for things such as free drinks or free food items through the app. Our Buzz’d app has attributed to our success by allowing us to give our customers the technology they are used to when dealing with these larger companies.
As a small business that has allowed us to give an incredible overall customer experience.
When we started Buzz’d, finding the perfect coffee blend was an exciting challenge for us. We chose to work with a local Long Island roaster and spent months perfecting it.
Our goal was to deliver high quality, specialty coffee that would mix well with our signature flavors.
Mass chain coffee retailers brew their coffee extremely dark which takes the delicious flavor out of the bean. We also don’t want the flavor to over power the coffee so finding that balance was our goal.
We spent months executing blind taste tests comparing our sample blends to mass coffee retailers and some other local shops.
Some blends were brewed too dark, some too light. We experimented with mixing different blends to find the right flavor profile that we were looking for.
All of these factors were taken into consideration and the outcome: the Buzz’d Coffee Blend. Our blend is sourced from different origins around the world and used to create our delicious coffee.
